Classes meet for eight hours a day, Monday thru Thursday, and lets out at 1:00 on Friday for the students that go home. Class includes a combination of lecture, forging, and practical horseshoeing. Students handle horses and tools from the first week of school, and continue with as much hands-on experience as time allows throughout the course. Hand forged shoes are fabricated for basic and therapeutic shoeing, as students study anatomy, physiology, and the conformation of the horse. Special Guest Speakers and Exibitions. Field Trips. The motivated student has virtually unlimited opportunity to shoe a wide variety of horses under the supervision of an experienced instructor. The student to Instructor ratio is low, allowing for individualized feedback and Instruction that includes client relations, business practice, and other necessary for Students to SUCCESSFULLY begin their own business.

Bunkhouse Accommodations: The Bunkhouse is Modern with all the Conveniences of Home for Free! Houseing is available for Women and Men. The Bunkhouse is furnished and has all the amenities you'll need for a pleasant comfortable stay. You will need to buy your own groceries and your own gas back and forth from the bunkhouse. Bunkhouse location can change yearly.
